Roberta Valdez, Associate Director of the Service Learning Institute of CSU Monterey Bay was seeking a redesign of their 8pg program for the Spotlight on ServiceAwards: a major event that highlights ongoing events, leaders in the community,awardees, the Service Learning Institute staff and board partners, andcommunity partners. The theme the client wished to reflect this year was Voices:When We Speak Out. The Program had to communicate the mission ofjustice and social responsibility the community has in cultivating partnerships, along with highlighting CSUMB’s role as a leader in this mission. This was the final design chosen from the entire Publication Workshop class.
